Jejuri Tourism and Travel Guide

Also known as Khandobachi, this is a historical place where once Shivaji and Shahji are said to have discussed plans to perish the Mughals. The place is mainly known for the Khandoba temple which is located on top a hill. You need to climb about 200 stairs to reach the temple which has a number of idols and two bells. There is also a mountains next to it and the views from the temple area are spectacular. You can also catch the views of the Dive Ghat and the Deep Mala from this area. The Deep Mala is a stretch of lights mounted on rocks. Yatra to this temple is mainly held during the Hindu months of Chaitra, Margashirsh, Paush and Magh.
