Also known as Campolee, this is a small industrial town in District Raigad. It is situated on the foothills of the Sahyadri and beside the Patalganga River. The beautiful green views of this region and the Vireshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva are also popular attractions here. The Patalganga River is a main part of the Tata Hydroelectricity Project of this region and thus gives a boost to the industrial circuit of the town.
