Visited Kashmir in May. Had a houseboat in Dal lake where you can see the snow capped mountains all around even in May. In Gulmarg took the gondola ride to Aparwat and Khilanmarg ,which was not less beautiful then Swiss Alps. Sonmarg was beautiful and especially the way to Sonmarg from Srinagar was enchanting. Betaab Valley, Aru Valley were the main attractions of Pahelgaum,which was the most beautiful place of Kashmir with rivers and mountains all around .
Must see place in Srinagar are Parimahal and you can see full Dal lake from the top of the castle on the hill.
Overall Kashmir is a great place !
