Rail: The most convenient means to reach Punnamada Resort is by train as the Alappuzha Railway Station is only 8km away. If you're travelling from New Delhi, you can take the Trivandrum Rajdhani.

A major tourist spot in the city, the beach is a must-visit, especially if you're there around new year. You must visit the the beach for its Beach Festival (takes place in the last week of December) and Sand Art Festival (typically takes place in April) in case you're in the city during these months.

This temple, known as Mannarasala is located amidst complete greenery and seclusion. The temple is held in high regard for those who have problems conceiving. You can visit the temple for a unique experience where you can also enjoy a fish pedicure.
