Jehangir Art Gallery

This is Mumbai's one of the most popular art galleries located in the Kala Ghoda area. It was built in 1952 and contributed to the city by Cawasji Jehangir and is till now managed by the Bombay Art Society. This is also the most prestigious venue for modern artistes of the city and there is always a rush for them to exhibit their paintings here. Many have to wait for at least a few years to get a turn as well. The main reason is that this gallery is most of the time in the media eye for good reasons. There are four exhibition halls to exhibit artwork here.

UB City

This is the largest mall in Bangalore, laid over an area of 13 acres and in the heart of the city. This is a project of the UB Group headed by Vijay Mallya and is built on the road named after the former business tycoon, Vitthal mallya. This is a joint projject of the UB Group with the Prestige Group. The mall houses outlets of almost all national and foreign luxury brands and it is thus a shopaholic's drug. They also have some good food outlets on the top level of the mall to serve your hunger after you have done a lot of window shopping as well. Kynkyny Art

Selling art articles for homes and home articles with art on them, Kynkyny is one of the most popular art stores in Bangalore. Like me you can go there just to interact with the patient staff who not only explain the painting to you and help you find one within a particular price range but also pack the paintings in a convenient manner in case you’re travelling. Often displaying work from upcoming as well as well-established artists, this gallery never disappoints when you’re hunting for that perfect painting to wake up to or that perfect bed to sleep on.
