Hussain Sagar Lake
This is one of the very few man- made lakes of the country and is one of the most beautiful too. The statue of Lord Buddha made in granite stands in the middle of the sparkling lake and it looks nothing less than a dream. The lake connects Hyderabad and Secunderabad and was built by Sultan Nawab Shah Wahi in the 17th century to provide the people with adequate water supply. To one part of the lake is the Lumbini Park and in the middle is this place which has a royal entrance with two lions guarding it just like many other ancient temples. on the banks of this lake are the Birla Temples all in white marble. The view of the lake becomes even better after evening with the white lights put up which make it look like a diamond necklace. You get the best views from the Tank Bund Road as well as the Neklace Road. You can cruise around here and enjoy a romantic lunch date on board only.

Bheemuni Padam Waterfalls
We started to Warangal on 19th of December, 2015 at 2AM in the morning (a team of four). It is around 150KM via Aler and we reached the city by around 8AM in the morning with proper halts and early morning selfies ;-) We directly went to a place called "Bheemuni Paadam Waterfalls" which is about 50KM from Warangal. That place is completely surrounded by forest and small villages. It is said that the water falls from a small rock all the year round even in the summer. When we reached there there was a slight stream of water flow, and when we got into the water, it was chilled like hell (The feeling of Leonardo DiCaprio, when he was in the Pacific Ocean after Titanic sank into the North Atlantic Ocean).
The Gangavaram beach is particularly the most iconic beach near Hyderabad because it has attracted quite a few bollywood producers to shoot on its sand. This beach has been maintained properly, and swimming is prohibited in its waters. If you want to enjoy a relaxing day out, then get your picnic blankets and head to this beach on a pleasant day.
Like someone said, “We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us”. This so very apt for I.T sector's Labors like us to disconnect the world to reconnect to LIFE. A weekend getaway for Hyderabad can be any place near but I personally identify Vizag for my retreat. I might have been to this place many a time before but it keeps surprising me every time. Here is my take on the Port city of Andhra Pradesh .
We reached at the place by 5:00 in the morning but were waiting for the morning light to come so we halted for a while near a temple which is considered as landmark for Anathagiri hills. After 30 mins we started to the view point which can be reached if we take the road starting opposite to Temple.Within a minute we could experience a lot of greenary all around us. It took at least 10 min of complete off roading for us to reach the view point.
