Varanasi (Kashi) is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world.

It is the core of Hindu Vedic civilization, containing some of the most ancient temples, ashrams, traditional Indian music, and beautiful ghats next to sacred river Ganga.

Kashi is the most significant of the 7 moksha-puris. All the deities of Sanatan Dharma are present here, and every ancient Yogi and Rishi has come here for their spiritual evolution. 

This yatra experience takes you through the hidden, unexplored ancient Kashi along with rituals and spiritual practice so you can make the most from your trip.

Stay and host

  • Twin sharing accommodation, situated next to the banks of Maa Ganga in the Bangali Tola area.
  • If an en-suite bathroom is preferred, then inform us beforehand.
  • Private rooms available (at slightly higher cost).
  • Your host for this spiritual journey will be Kamya Buch who has been a digital nomad since 2015, exploring ancient cultures across the world.
  • Kamya’s spiritual journey started in 2011 with the guidance of her Guru in India; though she holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Warwick in England and has lived in several countries, she has explored in detail the origins of ancient Bharat.
  • Kamya has already conducted 7 successful Kashi yatras with happy participants!
  • This trip has curated to provide an authentic yatra experience that you would not get with any mass tourism company. She takes small groups and gives personalised attention to each.

How to Reach

By Air:Varanasi Airport or Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport or Babatpur Airport in Varanasi is the closest airport. It is just 18 kms from the city.
By Train:Varanasi Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway station and is just 4.3 kms from the main city.

  • Reach Kashi by 12pm and check-in to your accommodation.
  • Introduction circle with welcome kit and explanation of ancient Kashi.
  • Kaal Bhairav temple darshan with surrounding hidden temples
  • Satsang and group learning circle in Adi Vishweshwar mandir.
  • Head to the Evening Ganga Aarti.
  • Free time for dinner.
  • Walking on ghats and early sleep.
  • Wake up by 6am to experience the morning rituals on the banks of Ganga
  • Exploring the main temples around Dasaswamedh ghat with explanations
  • Visit to Visalakshi Shaktipeeth and hidden puranic temples.
  • Breakfast in Annapurna Trust (annadanam).
  • Free time for lunch in Bangali Tola.
  • Free time for saree shopping / handicrafts in authentic shops.
  • Early evening darshan in Sankat Mochan temple.

  • Evening exploring powerful Shakti temples and local temples in Bangali Tola + Kedar Khand of Kashi, including Lahiri Mahasaya Ashram.

  • Main darshan in Kashi Vishwanath mandir with guided rituals by an experienced pandit along with Sparsh Darshan inside the Garbh Griha.
  • Walking along the ghats and dinner.
  • Option to attend the Shayan or sleep time aarti in Kashi Vishwanath.
  • Wake up by 7:00 am.
  • Option to visit Maha Mrityunjaya Mandir with Dhanvantari Koop water well (multiple options given depending on group)
  • Open space for Rudra Abhishek
  • Closing circle on terrace with guided meditation.
  • Check out at 12pm.

  • For those interested in the potent RUDRA ABHISHEK, a profound 1.5-hour ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva, details will be provided during the introductory session.
  • In Kashi, transactions are primarily in cash, so ensure you have extra cash for personal expenses.
