Honestly 4 days are a lot to spend in Hampi alone. You can also think of covering Badami-Aihole-Pattadakal and Bijapur

Even 2 days are enough to explore hampi. But if you want tp relax a bit then stay at Hippie island and extent your day (3rd day). Also you can make badami and aihole if you want. In 4 days you will cover Hampi, Badami and Aihole easily. For hampi guide you can visit my blog, I just had been to hampi. - https://www.tripoto.com/trip/3-days-in-hampi-with-budget-of-rs2500-5c3f94bfca088

Firstly 4 days are kindof more than enough to cover hampi. Hampi is basically divided into two parts town side and hippie Island. All major tourist attractions and monuments are on town side while hippie Island has more of laidbackvibes where you can just chill. A ferry connects both side from morning till 6 in the evening, So plan accordingly. In my opinion I would suggest you to stay at hippie Island. You can easily cover town side in a day and be back by evening to island. Just hire an auto or rent a bike. Matanga Hill, monkey temple, sunset point are good places for sunrise and sunset. For stay check goan corner, manju's homestay, nargilla guesthouse, hema Guesthouse. Bike rental are easily available on island side but same has limited availability on town side and most importantly you cannot cross to town side from hippie Island using rental vehicle. Further, let me know if you want contacts for bike rentals and auto hire. Happy traveling!
