1. If you want to witness northern lights then come from now onwards till early april 2. Otherwise the best months to travel Scandinavia are from May to August 3 They are extremely expensive countries even by European problem 4 Veg food is a concern 5 Distance between one place to another even with in a country ( eg from bergen to Tromso in Norway ) is quite a bit . So plan your travel itinerary accordingly

Hi Meghana, No matter when you visit Tromso, a city in northern Norway, there are plenty of things to do. Tromso is well known for being one of the world's top Northern Lights destinations, but this city is definitely worth visiting all year. https://travellifo.com/15-top-rated-attractions-in-tromso-and-best-things-to-do-in-tromso/ The port of Tromso, the biggest city in northern Norway, is located on a small island midway between Narvik and Hammerfest, 349 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. A prominent fishing harbor that was established in the 13th century, Tromso is also a popular location to view and study Norway's famed aurora borealis, or northern lights. Norway is best for you.

Well, in my opinion Iceland is the best destination for tour. Iceland is equally stunning at night as it is during the day. The northern lights, also known as the aurora borealis, are always present but can only be seen under very black, clear skies. I have not visited Iceland, so I can speak only about Norway. My travels took me to Norway two times and during these trips, I did not manage to witness the Northern Lights; however, this did not cause me any disappointment. I recommend making other plans and things to do. Norway is a very wonderful place, and you will still enjoy it even if you will not witness the Northern Lights. Many fjords and mountains are available for visiting and enjoyment. Make sure not to miss the Pulpit Rock or the city of Bergen.
