Best time to visit would be from Early January to Late March. If you want to attend the hornbill festival then you should head there during the first week of December.

Hi, best time for North East India is during the months from December to March. Weather remains dry, cool and you can also see snowfall there.

Visit northeast during the summers, because you can visit snowfall at any hill station. Visit northeast from April.

Depends which state you will be visiting as there are different festival in different season. Preferably winters is the best season for any North East state

If you want to experience snow then Jan is the best time, if you are interested in the hornbill festival then Dec is the time. Early March it is pleasant and lush green.
