In Malé, the capital of the Maldives, there are several interesting places to explore and activities that budget travellers can enjoy. Book Your Maldives Tour Packages now : https://www.flamingotravels.co.in/international-tour-packages/maldives-holiday-tour-packages Places to Visit: Local Markets: Visit the local fish market to witness the vibrant trade and daily life. The produce market is also colourful and offers a glimpse into local culture. Islamic Centre: Explore the Islamic Centre and its striking mosque topped with a golden dome. Visitors can enter the mosque at designated times. Sultan Park: Enjoy a peaceful stroll in Sultan Park, a small but serene area in the city centre. National Museum: Discover the history and culture of the Maldives at the National Museum, which houses artefacts, historical relics, and exhibits. Budget-Friendly Activities: Beach Time: While the beaches in Malé might not be as expensive as those in resort islands, Rasfannu Beach and Artificial Beach offer a chance to relax, swim, and soak up some sun without a resort fee. Local Cuisine: Try local Maldivian cuisine at small eateries or street food stalls. Look for places serving "mas huni" (a dish made with tuna, coconut, and onions) or "rihaakuru" (a fish-based thick paste). Ferry Rides: Take inexpensive public ferries to nearby islands like Villingili or Hulhumalé. These rides offer glimpses of local life and stunning views of the ocean.
