There are many places in especially Northern India from the trekking perspective. Here are a few famous treks - Hampta Pass, Valley of Flowers, Kedarkantha, Roopkind, Rupin Pass, Bhrigu Lake, Sandakphu, etc. It depends of the number of days and your endurance. If you like all alphabetical factors then choose the Rupin pass. But again as you said you are a beginner so should not be your initial treks.

I would suggest go to kheerganga manali , why bcoz it's best for all kinds. You can go for triund trek as well but it's tougher than above one.
