Hey, The best time to visit Leh Ladakh is from June to September. For a perfect road trip you need atleast 10-12 days. Hope this helps .

Leh-Ladakh not only an adventure place but it consists of monasteries, temples, lakes, valleys and incredible backdrop. 7 to 8 days are ideal to explore Ladakh The various places that you can visit are:- Shanti Stupa : It is a Buddhist white-domed stupa. It is situated on hill top. Its beautiful architecture will memorize us.
Hall Of Fame : It is a museum that exhibits war weapons, various weapons etc. This museum built by Indian army. We come to know about various Soldiers who have sacrificed their life for our safety. Its truly pride taking moment.
Magnetic hill : I can say it as magical hill. It is a small stretch where it is appears to be uphill but it is downhill. We can also recollect our lessons about law of gravity.
Khardung-la Pass : It is the highest motarable road. It trills all the riders. I feel the best way to enjoy Kahrdung-la is in bike.
Nubra Valley : It is a tri- armed valley with stunning scenery. I can tell it is a truly breathtaking view.
Hundur Monastery : It is also known as Hundur Gompa. It is one of the Buddhist Monastery. It is known for its sand dues and cold deserts which surrounds it.
Diskit Monastery : It is the biggest Monastery i have ever seen. It has a gigantic Buddha statue on it. It is the oldest Monastery in Leh- Ladakh.
Pangong Lake : This lake is truly amazing. The view of this lake is mind blowing. I bet the picture of this lake will be our laptop and mobile screensaver for many days. One can say it as paradise on earth. It is situated at a height about 4350.

The best time to visit Leh Ladakh by road is between May to September. Even though the Srinagar Leh highway opens by the middle of May, the Manali Leh highway opens in June only.
You'll need at least 8 days to about 15 days for the trip, depending on your choice of transport, you can choose to fly to Leh, which will save you some time. If you want to take a road trip it will take you a couple of weeks for the trip.

Hey Sunil I think the best month is may right after the way from manali opens only then u can enjoy the mesmerising view of ice walls just go via Srinagar and complete the circuit.
just spare as many days as you can but Chandigarh to Chandigarh 12 days are sufficient

The best time to visit Leh is June to September...specially june.. as the Nubra-Pangong road opens for few days... Due to landslides this road generally remains blocked most of the time... It takes minimum 8-10 days for a complete roadtrip...

Hi Sunil, The best time to visit Ladakh would be somewhere between mid June to mid July. During this period, it is not too cold since summers have just started and you can witness both the barren landscapes and snow covered peaks.
Any time before that would be very cold. Also most passes will be closed as roads are covered with snow and dangerous to travel on. Visiting Ladakh in August-September period is also great since its a safe period to travel, however you will not be able to see much snow covered peaks during this time.
I think a trip of about 10-12 days should be enough to cover all the major attractions in Leh & Ladakh.

Best month is June and July in consideration with climatic factor land slide and other permissions. Leh Road are opened only in late June
