Chengannur railway station is the nearest railway station to Sabrimala Temple which is well-connected to major cities such as Alappuzha and Kollam. Though the most convenient way to travel to Sabrimala is via roadways (cabs and buses) from the nearby cities such as Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Reach Pampa which will be your base camp and begin trekking to Sabrimala. It will take you 3 hours to complete the trek.
