Thanxx buddy, can u tell me the longest one among them.
I've done 4 treks in South India. Among the 4 treks, 3 of them are worth mentioning. Kodachadri in Shivamogga (Shimoga), Karnataka: Trekked this beautiful peak in July during monsoon. It is situated in the Western Ghats. The best one to date. It was raining cats and dogs and it didn't dampen our spirits. We stood below the gushing waters of Hidlumane Falls. It was therapy! The raincoats were doing no good but we decided to go all the way up. We were drenched top to bottom. A part of the trail gets very narrow and you need to hold each other’s hands and walk, but you get a great rush of adrenaline. The trek up-hill was followed by an INSANE jeep ride downhill. Chembra Peak in Wayanad, Kerala: Trekked this beauty in the month of October. It was drizzling when I was trekking and it made the entire experience unforgettable. It was my first trek and I was thoroughly exhausted by the time I finished it. However, a small but mesmerizing heart-shaped lake awaits you at the peak. It was worth it all. The trail takes you through thick forests. Tavor Hill in Coorg, Karnataka: This is a very off-beat destination and it is not well-known. However, there is a well-defined trail you can follow. I went there during the month of October. The trail consists of dense forests, millions of cicadas which are hyperactive and a ridge walk where it’s a several hundred feet drop to your left and right side and you get to walk on a narrow path. Adrenaline junkies, check this out! It was drizzling during this trek too and it was foggy at the peak. The best time to trek anywhere in South India would be during the monsoon season. The hills just transform into a different place altogether. Good Luck!!
