I have recently done a road trip to NorthEast Himalayas i.e., Sikkim. If you want the best adventures just travel to Lachen for freezing temperatures. You can visit Gurudongmar lake 17,500 feet to experience the altitude sickness with hundreds of feet deep valleys, vertical roads, landslides and for freezing water with beautiful snowy landscapes. You can book a 3 day North Sikkim tour from anywhere near the main market. The trip cost me 3000/- in May 2017 including food, travel & lodging. I had to travel along with other tourists in a Bolero. Total 10 people. We visited Lachen, Yumthang, Zero Point, Lachung, Gurudongmar Lake. Each of these places are absolutely breathtaking!
