Heavy rains and many places severly affected.. Cochin airport closed for 2 days...you can check our news channel like asianet news or any other leading news channel in YouTube also to know how places are affected.

I advise you to postpone your plan for couple of weeks.

Certain places have been affected severely. Depends on the location that you plan to visit. I am in Alleppey right now and its not bad. The boat race has been postponed but it was because of the situation in northern regions. Hopefully, even the situation in the rest of the place gets better. Onam is celebrated in Kerala after Sept 7th and if interested you can check that out.

No one can say you what would happen in Sept. You need to keep watching the news to see how the flood it. Plus, flood can bring lots of diseases along with them.

Hi Adi, We all hope the situation is going to get better.

Check the weather before you go coz floods are happening

If you're going as a tourist then its better to avoid. But if you're going as a traveller than you should go... Try to stay more at homestays as kerela has plenty of them at beautiful locations. This will also help the community to get up strongly after this natural blow...
