House Boats normally offer two packages one day cruise starting from 12 noon till 5PM with or without food and overnight stay in a double beded houseboat starting from 12PM to 9AM next day. For day cruise the rates normally starts from 5000 depends on how hard you bargain and for overnight stay it starts from 10000. If you are on a budget the option is to choose a canopy or small boat which charges 500 to 600 per hour and you can choose the duration of the trip. The advantage of small boat is you can cruise through even the smallest canal which houseboats couldn't go which will surely male a difference. The rates may vary depends on season. Hi Rajesh, Most houseboats will give you breakfast. If you ask them for lunch, they can arrange that too. Some even let guests catch fishes and grill those for them. When I check houseboat prices in Dec 2016, they were charging me Rs 25000 per night for 4 people. Now the price me differ as per the season and demand.

When went there in March (off season), they charged us 7k for 12 people. It included boat ride from 9 to 5 with breakfast, lunch and evening snacks. It was very cheap considering the facilities they provided.
