Its visa on arrival in Thailand for an Indian passport. Make sure you carry cash with you in Thai bath. Just check the amount online and of course your return ticket. Its pretty simple but sometimes the lines take long time.

Visa on arrival..

Hi if this is your first international travel I would suggest that you take the visa from India for your trip. Cost is anyways same. Apply for Visa in India itself and get it before you fly

Visa on arrival is good option as tours package took more of your money mostly the documents are required like your passport address proof keep it a safe side your photo 2 passport size and your itinerary and reason to visit Thailand.Nothing its a very easy process. It will take hardly 15 mints on the airport

Be prepared for long lines in VOA section. Nothing fancy is required for Visa. Take a form and fill it . There will be immigration people who will check your return flight ticket and hotel stay ( No need of hardcopy , you can show them in your cellphone) and one passport size photograph. Don't worry they will staple your photo for you on the form. There are two lines. One is normal which is little longer and the other one is express . Normal charges are 2000 THB and express are 2200 or 2300 THB ( Not sure) Remember in thailand you have to take visa on your first point of entry. No matter you travel further and you are a transit passenger you gotta take visa on the first point of entry

It’s cheaper to apply for visa in India

If you are planning to book a package for Thailand, you can ask your agent to complete your VISA formalities in order to avoid chaos. else you could apply the same on arrival. the difference in cost is nominal.

If you are visiting before 30.04.2019, you should definitely opt for Visa on Arrival since it's free till then. Visa in advance costs you around INR 4000.
