Hey Yasmin, Auli is also known as skieeing town of India ... Places to see are :- Mana Village the last Village of india is nearby to Auli .... You can also visit Joshimath and witness lots of trekkers dre as it is the starting point of many treks .... Also Badrinath shrine is also near to Auli ... You can also visit Tapta kund and Panch shilas and take a bath in hot water spring dre ... All these places can be visited on a daily basis as it is 50 Kms from Auli ... And at the time of christmas it will all be snowing and superb ... So have a great journey ... Happy Travelling !!!

It is famous for sking You can take a rope way from Joshimath. You can also plan a Kauri Pass trek. Place to visit- Mana pass, Badrinath.

Auli, situated near Joshimath, District Chamoli. One of the best place for skiing.
There are some places I would recommend you-
1) Auli Artificial Lake 2kms from Auli.
2) Gorson Bugyal 4.7kms from Auli
3) Chattrakund a small lake 4kms from Auli
4) Kwani Bugyal 13 km from Auli
5) Chenab Lake
6) Narshingh Temple at Joshimath

In season you can visit Badrinath, Mana Village but as the doors are closed now you can't visit there. You can go for Tungnath trek and Chamdrashila trek
