1. land in Thiruvananthapuram inter national Airport,Kerala pick a train to kanyakumari/ Travel up to kanyakumari in train 2.visit kanyakumari 3.kanyakumari to Madurai in train 4.visit madurai 5.Madurai to rameswaram in train or bus 6.visit rameswaram 7.back to madurai 8.Train or Flight from Madurai/ If airfare is high travel to Bangalore/ Chennai

You can add Tirupati also,, Tirupati Balaji to Madurai Madurai to Chennai Chennai to Rameshwaram Rameshwaram to Trivndram Trinvendram to Back your home

We started from Bangalore to madurai by train, hired cab from Madurai-rameshwaram-kanyakumari n drop back to railway station at madurai. you can spend half a day at madurai visiting the famous Meenakshi temple. following that start to rameshwaram either by train /road (depending on Ur interest of expedition). on way enjoy the famous Pamban bridge. book a stay near to temple at rameshwaram- some good ones are there at reasonable price. may require one day full , then next day to Dhanushkodi and next day start to Kanyakumari via Thiruveli .it's beautiful to go by road ,instead of other modes.can spend a day n half n back to madurai.

Reach Madurai.. Visit Meenakshi Temple proceeds towards Rameshwaram.. then After exploring Rameshwaram.. Go to Kanyakumari
