Try going for a road trip in leh or Spiti valley... that's the best time to visit these places... a trip of 5-6 days to any of these places will be enough.....

As you know India is vast country, you have plenty of options to visits. If you don't want to visit listed place you mention then I'll suggest few places that I like most Leh-Ladakh is one of the best place to visit I know, yih can visit with your fellas or have solo trip. Then next I would recommend Shimla. Valley of flower is also good place in Chamoli, there you dual thing trekking and tip
