Hi Sheetal, When you say weekend getaways, then Pondicherry and Mahablipuram comes to my mind. Other places are Pulicat[Pulicat Lake], Golden Temple in Vellore, Nagalapuram. [Nagalapuram Falls], Kanchipuram. The Ancient Ekambareshwar Temple in Kanchipuram, Thiruthani[The Thiruthani Murugan Temple.]
