Wayanad is a better option for you. You can explore in wayanad with friends. the main attractions of wayanad are zip line, bamboo rafting, bungee jumping etc.

You must visit Munnar as it is really a beautiful place. It is a hilly town, so weather will be good. You must hire a bike or taxi for roaming around the city. Alleppy backwaters is also a must see place but check the weather conditions as its a tropical place. Wayanad a hill station. Cherai beach, Alapuza backwaters. 5 to 6 day trip, you can cover all three places.

Go to allepy it’s a must do in Kerala..hire a house boat and can enjoy the entire day there..Bargain!
Second must visit is Atthrapalley..it is just awesome..it’s a huge waterfall and just amazing..there is a rainforest resort also there you can book for stay in advance it has mesmerising views of rainfalls..Mind it in advance booking only.
Then Munnar is another good place to explore
