Hi Zarina, of course people know the difference, but most of the travellers visit only Prague from Czechia whereas you have many options in Croatia... So, most of the people compares the city with Country... that isn't a problemπ
Both Prague and Croatia are outstanding tourist destination . After last year World Cup Win , Croatia is suddenly on everyone's wishlist. However as rightly pointed out by everyone Prague is just a city while Croatia is an entire Country waiting to be explored. Prague is a city with old world charm , one of its kind famous for palaces , old town square and Charles Bridge . Croatia is a bigger and wider experience . One can visit Dubrovnik , Split , Zagreb and Hvar in Croatia . Each place has something different to offer . So if you are press for time then just visit Prague for 3-4 days. However if you have 7-10 days in hand then give Croatia a visit. You wont regret it !!
Well the two are completely different destinations.. It depends upon what are you looking forward to on this Trip.. Prague is rich with ancient architecture.. cheap to travel and special point goes to the cheap beer.. where as Croatia is beautiful!! beaches and islands and torquoise water!! So go decide!!
If you are fan of Game of Thrones Croatia is best one to live a GOT life, I have been to Prague in November 2018. For me Christmas is the best time to visit Prague and Budapest for the amazing Christmas markets some amazing random shows turns up. Happy Travelling π
