This was my first visit to Pushkar Camel Fair this year and I was left speechless witnessing this extravaganza. It was huge this year with thousands of camels and very large number of horses as well. I am a hobby photographer and this provided me with the best photo opportunities. All the locals including tiny children know that photographers from across the globe come there for photography and thus, they are tuned to ask for money at a drop of a hat. It is best to go there with lots of change (Rs. 10, 20). It is also wise to ask them if one can take a picture. A great place, a great spectacle awaits you. Typically it would be held in the month of November every year. A must visit, witness fair for sure....!!

The camel fair is the most awaited event in Pushkar! It is an exciting affair that takes place each year but continues to receive thousands of travellers as guests. One of the bestest camel fair is there and for travellers and photographers this is the amazing place. pushkar fair will start from 6th nov to 12th nov. camal ride. hot ballon ride.. sunset point sunrise point is there. at night you can enjoy bonfire and their cultural events also.
