Kerala known as Gods Own Country is a best decision for Honeymoon ,The Places to Visit can be decided based on the time of your Visit ,June to August mid is rainy season in Kerala ,So try to avoid Visiting high range places. like Idukki at that time. You can Plan your trip like Arrival at Cochin Airport (Please do Note that from November Domestic day flights will be less as run way maintenance will start) ,From there take a cab and Visit Alleppey /Alappuzha ,The Venice of East ,There You can Enjoy the beautiful backwaters ,There are so many good Houseboats providing packages for Honeymoon .After the cruise ,You can start to Munnar ,Idukki where the beautiful tea estates will welcome you (Govt Bus Service also available) .If you want some adventure Para gliding facility is available at Vagamon enroute Munnar. Some more adventure awaits you as govt is providing trekking to Meesapulimala ,Vattavada and Kolukkumala .Sunrise at the above places will be a lifetime experience for all .Ramakalmedu in Idukki district can also be visited ,Which will give you a splendid view of Idukki.Other Place which can be added to your trip is Calvary mount NB: Cochin to Alleppey-60Km Alleppey to Munnar -168Km Govt Approved Taxis will be cheap Compared to Private Ones. From Munnar Come back to Cochin where you can visit Fort Kochi ,Mattanchery Jew Street etc where adequate shopping can also be done.Dont forget to Visit Lulu Mall before leaving for airport btw wishing you a happy Honeymoon Brother ,Cheers ....

One of the most beautiful State of India. 1.) Must visit Alleppey backwaters. Here one hire a house boat which take you to the canals. It may cost you in between 15k-25k max. (depending upon the house boat you hire). enjoy food inside the boat. Rooms are pretty good. I will suggest to have A.C room boat because it is quite humid there. 2.) Second location I will suggest to go to Munnar for sure. Visit tea gardens there. That place is simply amazing 3.) Third location Since you are going for Honeymoon - simply go to Varkala beach to chill out. Kovalam is also near to it, but kind of crowdy. Varkala is lovely place to relax. 4.) Want to make a perfect date ! Then go to Fort Kochi beach. A perfect place to see sunset and enjoy the evening there. (you wont regret it) 5.) And if you have time left - Then do to Kanyakumari as well. The last point of India - Indira point. The place where you can observe both sunset and sunrise at one beach. (yes rarest thing and easily accessible in India). Make memories... Enjoy :)

Hey dilip its rainy here in kerala so i dont think munnar is a good option and i would suggest you varkala beach, its a beautiful beach with some amazing restaurants and cafes you will see a lot of travellers, surfers there altogether a nice ambience. Other than that you can also enjoy alappuzha seeing kuttanad is a beautiful experience and you will get state sponsored boats from alappuzha to kuttanad, alappuzha to kollam, alappuzha to kumarakom(the Govt boats are cheap, you will also find house boats in which you both can stay for a day it has two options day cruise and night cruise prices vary for each) Night cruise means staying in the houseboat for a full night in the backwaters, chill!!☺and when in alappuzha you will get some amazing food also ask for "karimeen" (that's one of the main dish in house boats) and a major plus if you are coming in varkala/alappuzha is that they are very near approx one hour distance Between and there are alot of ksrtc buses for that. you can also go to kochi if you are interested there are alot of bus services connecting alpy to kochi and i would say kochi is so crowded evebthough its beautiful. varkala to alappy (1-1/30 hr) aleppy to kochi (1-1:30 hr) And always opt for govt buses there are alot of them in this route. nb - auto drivers try to fool, but locals are huge supportive ask them for good restaurants and all, happy journey🙂 also alappuzha beach is an amazing place to see if you are in alappuzha.
