Good plan if you planning to go in this days (sept- dec19) this days are bit easy to explore due not so hot and humidity you can enjoy ur honeymoon here, if you like parties and alcohol many beach have sea sport also you can enjoy.

You have chosen a good time . i also visited there a week back. if you are planning for goa please do scuba diving or underwater diving it is not so costly but gives you a unlimited pleasure .
night life of goa is unmatched relate to any other city in INDIA . have a good time .. chears for you and your partner..

What is the best place into goa
Let me tell you some good thing to do in Goa on your honeymoon;
Start from Arambol beach in North Goa. Try Para-gliding is season suits. Go for a Hippie party on Arambol or ashwem beach nearby.
I personally would avoid baga calangute beach. But you can try water sports and enjoy night life (not so good) there. Baga and Calangute is good for shopping also. Go to Anjuna Wednesday flea market.
Come further south of Goa and spend some 3-4 days in palolem beach. Eat-sleep- repeat. Start with morning run or yoga on beach. Have a continental breakfast (avoid Indian). Go for dip in the sea together. Relax on beach beds having glass of juice/beer over a good chat. Try some authentic goan food for lunch. (sea food special). Relax in your beach side room or shack in afternoon. You can also go to cabo-do-rama fort which is nearby. Late afternoon - go for Kayaking in middle of the sea. Enjoy candle light dinner on the beach. Try Italian food with wine. Go for late night walk on the beach. Now go to your room. Next day hire a scooter and visit agonda/patnem/cola/rajbaug/galgibaug beaches. Try good body massage/ Temporary Tattoos. Do not forget to capture the moments in camera.

I feel south Goa will be a better option for honeymoon, as its not as crowded as the north. Rent a scooty, and roam around like a couple of lost souls, ask the locals and visit the not so popular beaches.

Lots and lots of things to you can in Goa. Firstly if you do come in the Monsoon the temperatures are way cooler because of the rain. and many resorts and five star hotels are really affordable right now as it is off season
