Hi, In August places in Himachal experience rainfall. The trek beings at Barsheni and takes about 6 hours on average. There is tented accomodation available so you can stay overnight. Make sure you carry appropriate rain gear and are very careful during trek as paths might be slippery. Go through the rain gear you might want to buy:
