Hi Turkey is the fabulous destination . You can plan at least one week in Turkey. Your itinerary should include : Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Ephesus.Forex cards will be used by only reputed shops , restaurants or hotel. For local shopping , sightseeing etc it is always recommended to carry local currency in various denominations . You can change the currency at airport

Hi, I did the same solo trip back in 2011 while I was coming back from US. Istanbul is amazing but you'll need to be careful while visiting granz bazaar and taksim square as there are many illegal activities including pickpocketing and fraud in night clubs. Best is to use forex card only anywhere you travel. No need to take hard cash

Dollars wouldn't be accepted...this could be possible at grand bazaar but not at all shops. ones thing i would say is this that if at all u have to take a cab there to commute, pls never ever pay the total amount in advance. yes they do all you for this. but don't pay at all. i had a pretty bad experience..in this scenario i lost 200 lira. dont ever fall for it.be cautious with ur wallet bag.
