one week to 10 days is a good time. You can find budget accommodation and good affordable food in all these places. traveling by local bus and walking within city is a good way to save money. you might get good hostels as well. as season is getting over, prices will start falling post Feb mid.

For travel use train, for staying use oyo rooms, map out the places you need to visit, Rent a bike, try street food and regarding time I visited complete Udaipur in 2 days so you need approximately 10 days in total

Use trains to travel. By train you can reach Jaipur one day sightseeing and next day you can go ajmer and pushkar visit the temples and masjid there and return jaipur Take over night train to Jaisalmer and go for desert camping. Rojani desert camp is a good one with affordable price. from jaisalmer you can go jodhpur by train or cab its a four hour drive. From jodhpur take overnight bus to udaipur, sightseeing of 2 days and from there you can go to mount abu and take train back from abu road to Gujarat

We are also planning for rajasthan trip in feb. For budget trip, you must opt train and buses for travelling. It not only save your money but also give you feel of real Rajasthan via roads. Book hostels in udaipur prior to avoid hassle. May be 7-10 days wil be enough but depends on your mode of travel and interests( after calculated total train journey duration )

Try making the transfers via train. A week will be enough for the trip.

dormitory would be the cheapest. train would be the most budget friendly means of travel though!
