One week to 10 days is a good time. You can find budget accommodation and good affordable food in all these places. traveling by local bus and walking within city is a good way to save money. you might get good hostels as well. as season is getting over, prices will start falling post Feb mid.
For travel use train, for staying use oyo rooms, map out the places you need to visit, Rent a bike, try street food and regarding time I visited complete Udaipur in 2 days so you need approximately 10 days in total
Hi , Traveling to one point to other eg Jaipur to jodpur etc is time consuming. make sure you have enough time. at least 2 to 3 days in Jaipur similarly to all. NOTE: All palaces, forts and museum are beautifully BIG... closing time is 5 pm to all palaces. So you will not have enough time to see everything in one day if u like clicking photos der. everything is beautiful around Travel local like bus stay in hostels. or best is zoestel (beautiful and cheap)
eat local personal experience in jodpur: plz Googe about Raj Ran Bhanka for stay and for packages dey are cheap and provide good service. beautiful stay.... free advice: do visti mandor garden, jodpur. happy travelling
Use trains to travel.
By train you can reach Jaipur one day sightseeing and next day you can go ajmer and pushkar visit the temples and masjid there and return jaipur
Take over night train to Jaisalmer and go for desert camping. Rojani desert camp is a good one with affordable price.
from jaisalmer you can go jodhpur by train or cab its a four hour drive.
From jodhpur take overnight bus to udaipur, sightseeing of 2 days and from there you can go to mount abu and take train back from abu road to Gujarat
We are also planning for rajasthan trip in feb. For budget trip, you must opt train and buses for travelling. It not only save your money but also give you feel of real Rajasthan via roads. Book hostels in udaipur prior to avoid hassle. May be 7-10 days wil be enough but depends on your mode of travel and interests( after calculated total train journey duration )
Hi Akash You need 1 week for Rajasthan, Take a flight straight to Jaisalmer, explore that desert for 2 days, take a flight/train again to udaipur, explore for 2 more days, take a flight to jaipur, explore jaipur for 2 days.
For udaipuru u can take bus from Ahmedabad....its takes around 4.5 hours.. minimum 4 days (including Chittorgarh)... Dont try to club all the places at one time...Beacuse to ecplore Rajasthan u need time.. Udaipur - 4 days
Jaipiur - 4 days
Abu - 2 days
Jodhpur - 2 days
Jaisalmer - 3-4 days'
Pushkar - 2 days
I think for the 4 places you mentioned here, at least 2 days each is a must. The weather is best here in winter. There are many zostels and hostels here owing to the huge foreign crowd. So for a budget travel, I suggest that you browse through Goibibo or Google to get the best prices for the best rates hostels. Happy Travelling! Apart from travel, it's a great place to shop and eat.
