See you can definitely complete the trek in a day but coming back down to barshaini on the same day is not advisable.
P.S. you don't need a guide for Kheerganga.. just be a lil careful as the its a long 13-14 km trek..the path is fairly simple identifiable.
if starting from delhi I would say you would require atleast 4 days to do it.

Hey there.. yes you can but it is a long trek and also the ending trek might be difficult for a beginner but you can start early and might take 5-6 hrs to reach depending on your pace.. so it is advisable that you stay for a night and return next morning or simply visit tosh instead..

The main point of that trek is to do camping on top and have a bath in hot water reservoir. So it's better to do ok no 2 days.

Yes you can complete the kheerganga trek in single day if you start early in the morning. Also no guide is required for the trek as path of the trek is easy.

Yes you can complete trek in 1 day . But to return back before dark , you have to start early morning. Otherwise stay at kheerganga for the night.

Yes it is hardly 5hour trek..you can make in a day only. but you can't back down on the same day. u need to stay there for a night. i just been there on 4th aug. very pretty trek trail, you'll enjoy for sure.
