Visit Amber fort, Jaigarh fort and water palace on Day 1. Tunnel walk in Amber palace is one of the must things to do. Visit City palace, Jantar Mantar , Hawa Mahal and city shopping on Day 2.
Get up early in the mrng and head towards amer fort. then there is a tunnel of 1.5 km through which u can go to Jaigarh fort
then from there hire a auto or something and go to nahargarh fort. if u follow this it must be around 1 pm. so have ua lunch in nahargarh fort food court its cheap there.
by around 2:30 -3 pm u will be reaching the city centre and in the way stop by jal mahal for 15-20 minutes and aftr that visit the city palace if u have energy left or u cn have a cup of coffe or something in the cafe in front of hawa mahal and watch the hawa mahal. or u cn go to hawa mahal than city palace in that day 2nd day:
go to albert hall museum, explore the bapu and zohri market near by( around 1-2 km) visit birla mandir and world trade park ,both are very nice .visit in the evening .it looks much better. u cn visit jantar mantar .its near city palace. not to visit: Sisodia rani ka bagh, Galtaji temple(very dirty zero maintenance), panna menna ka kund( entry is restricted inside the well, u cnt walk in the stairs too)
If you are already in Jaipur, morning drive to Sanganer to see & try Block printing
Then, for fun, half day activities with Elephants at Eleday
Try lot of local food but be carefull, some places might look good from outside but are really not worthy
Rest the usual sightseeing: Amer Fort (With evening light & Sound show), Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jal Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort
Must try Jhalana NAtional park to spot Leopards
Stay near Jal Mahal. It is centrally located to all places of interest. Go to Amer fort, Nahargarh fort on one side, other side has Hawa Mahal, Bapu Bazaar. You can also go to Chowki Dhani in the evening.
