Hello. If you want to visit auli, check at internet that if snowfall has occurred. Secondly, book hotels at joshimath as it will be more cheaper. But if you have enough budget then you can book at auli too. If budget is tight book taxi from joshimath rather than ropeway, but if want to enjoy scenic beauty go for ropeway. Skeing is must try at auli. Thanks
Go to Himachal, uttrakhand or Rajasthan
In Himachal- Kasol kheerganga jibhi jalori Teerthan parashar lake mclodganj Dharamsala
In Uttarakhand- auli chopta Harsel landsdowne Dehradun Kedarnath
In Rajasthan- Jaipur Udaipur Jodhpur Jaisalmer mount Abu
Rajasthan in February would be great choice. You can visit the cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ajmer and Mount Abu. 7-10 days would be enough to travel whole Rajasthan.
