1. for a rajasthani village experience and dinner go to chowki dhani 2. if u want to do a luxury dining video go to taj rambagh for a meal, they have peacocks in their garden (not in cages but freely roaming) 2. for the most amazing rajasthani street food go to laxmi mishthan bhandar (eat kachoris, mirchi bada etc.). dont forget to buy methi and garlic khakra 3. for nightlife go to elephant-naila bagh palace. they have a disc, candle lit sitting area, good food and amazing crowd 4. for a little history go to jaigarh and amer forts and hawa mahal. there are a few eateries opposite hawa mahal with great view (good for video shoot) 5. a little insider tip (not many people know about this) - go to this restaurant 1135 AD which is in amer fort, it is a royal dining room inside the fort (i am assuming the maharaja owns it). this restaurant is royal in true sense (the paintings, chandeliers, cutlery etc). the food is better than average, but the experience is truly royal. u can make a good video here

I would say don't miss Chokidhani..it's experience is unique, filled with the culture and tradition of Rajasthan. Especially if you are a foodie, do not give this one a miss! Beware of the heavy carb and calorie intake though :)
