Hampi and pondicherry are 2 unique and totally different sort of destinations to choose from.! Completely depends on what kind of things you are looking for in your trip..

Places you can visit Hampi, Nandi hills, banerghatta national park, Lala bagh, Bangalore place etc. You can also go to Ooty(Mysore)

Hampi and Pondicherry both are good places. If you like beaches, then go for Pondicherry and if you like heritage than go for Hampi.

It you love beaches and seafood then Pondicherry would be better choice. Else if you want to see heritage city then go for hampi.
