Hey I would like to go for travel for very short days in North East only in the time of independence day holiday,span around 1night and 2days, except Sikkim. plz anybody can suggest a plan for couple in a budget plan?

Go to Shillong and Cherrapunjee and if you have time Mawlynnong. You have to fly into gauhati and hire a transport car to shillong. You can find then at the airport (you can go on shared basis or hire the whole car for 2k or 2.5k.
