Hi Jay, for your first solo trip you can try either the triund trek or kasol-kheerganga trek in Himachal Pradesh. Both these treks are easy and perfect for first timers.

Start with Triund. It's always starting point of every trekkers. It's not so hard, so best to start with. But February will be more chilling & find snow there.

you can go to Triund. It's's a very easy trek and could be done without any guide. The route is well marked and you will find enough people throughout. It will cost you around 1000-1500 including food from dharamshala.
