Hey Swechha, I would for sure suggest you to visit this little tiny peace of islands far from mainland of India .... The places of interest here are :- Andaman jail or veer savarkar jail Port Blair North Bay island Ross island Chidiya tapu beach Vandoor beach Naval museum in port Blair Havelock island Kalapathar beach Elephant beach Neil island Baratang island Scuba in Havelock or North bay is best ... snorkelling is also done here ... And for your query on diglipur, there is a 12 hrs bus from port Blair which starts at 5 and 7 a.m. and reaches diglipur by evening ... You can also take a stop over in mayabunder which is worth visiting ... You have the highest peak in Andaman in diglipur and that's Saddle peak ... you also have only River flowing in diglipur ... So with all 7 days ... you divide days like this :- 2 days - port Blair 1 day - Havelock Islands 1 day - Neil islands 3 days - one day towards diglipur ... one day in diglipur ... last day to come back to port Blair .. one day buffer ... So totally 7 days in hand for your Andamans trip .. Ferries you can check on government ferries. and also check for makruzz.com ... they ferry to and fro to Havelock and Neil and also port Blair .. they should guide you the best ... I personally haven't been to diglipur,but the locals say it's much untouched compared to port Blair and Havelock ... Keep a day extra and I guess you can tick all of them easily .. don't take last minute risks as ferries go booked suddenly in Andaman ... book each and every thing prior to your trip online and then embark on the plane ... accomodations... lemme check and tell you after a while Sweccha ...
Hi, In seven days, it's quite rushing to visit diglipur also. because roads of Andaman is not so good that one can travel like main land. in that case you would have to leave some main places in Andaman. search well and enjoy Andaman. visit my blog " how to visit Andaman self arranged".
