In North East states you can find Local Culture, Cusinies, and much more. So in Arunachal you can go Tawang and Shillong is very beautiful city.

5-6 days are too less. This part of india involes too much road travel and roads are not in good condition

5 days is very short, to visit there, at this time you can move a state, I advise you Nagaland.
