Hi Priyanka, The average maximum temperature in Meghalaya during November is 29- 33 degree Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature ranges from 22 - 24 degree Celsius which is fairly comfortable even for a child. In all probability, it wont be raining during the period of your visit, so you don't have anything to worry about. Do keep woollens for the night though! And oh, an umbrella just in case of emergencies :) Hope you have a great trip!

Yes, but please for more convenience in journey make sure you have the bookings. Reservations should be done for cab from Guwahati Airport to your destination. Do expect rain fall as well so pack your bag accordingly.

I'd suggest to go for music festival of shillong, weekender by bacardi. And make sure to keep yourself prepared with some warm clothes. The dates are around the first week of November, so good to go.

Yes ofcourse winters will arrive then and that is the right time to plan a trip to Megahalya, Try Pinapple there thats the best thing you will find there to eat. If you eat only vegetarian take some food with you before going to Cherrapunji. Non veg is mostly available there.

Hi Priyanka, Often called the abode of clouds, the best time to visit Meghalaya is between October and June. Most tourist destinations in the state receive temperatures that rarely go beyond 30°C, making it a perfect escape between March and June which is the summer season in the country. It is also a favourite during autumn and winters, i.e. from October to November and December to February amongst tourists who come from high or moderate temperature zones. Considered the wettest region in the country, Meghalaya is not often recommended to tourists during peak monsoons. The state receives an average rainfall of 250 cm. The season begins in May and goes on till the end of September or sometimes till mid-October. One can, however, explore the beautiful state in the beginning or by the end of the monsoon season when the rains are not heavy and the terrain is mesmerisingly beautiful. I have also tried to put together some of the things you can do in Meghalaya- Meghalaya in Winter (October - February) Meghalaya experiences autumn between October and November and winter season from December to February. The average day-time temperature is extremely pleasant at 15°C, but the night-time temperature drops to around 3°C during the winters. Foggy days are typical here. It is a treat for those who wish to get engulfed in the Fog amidst beautiful surroundings left behind by the monsoons. One can unleash the explorer in them and go sightseeing or participate in a trekking expedition to traverse through the thrilling mountainous terrain. Shillong, Cherapunji, Tura, Nongstoin, Nongpoh, Guwahati, East Garo, Jowai etc. are visited often during this season to explore attractions like Balpakram National Park, Umiam Lake, Laitlum Canyon, Double Decker Living Route Bridge, Ialong Park etc.
