Sikkim is good...but i would suggest go to chamoli...its a small village in uttarkhand situated in the foothills of himalayas. its not so much commercialised or popular but you will definitely enjoy your trip.
Honeymoon in Sikkim is an experience of a lifetime. If you are traveling for your honeymoon then I’d suggested a few places both mainstream and offbeat that will give you an experience of a lifetime. Tsomgo Lake, Baba mandir, Nathula pass, Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary and lachen.
Even in the light of current situation. Jammu and Kashmir is completely safe to travel to. Infact, it is the only state with zero crime record against tourists. You have to go there to know the real Kashmir. You will love it there in Summers, try and stay in a houseboat, the shikara ride through the floating market is an experience in itself. Also, pahalgam, dudhpathri and auri valley are magnificent in summers. And if you are one of the adventurous ones, Gurez Valley is a hidden gem, completely unlike anything you have ever seen. I have travelled to Kashmir twice as a Solo female traveller, and both times in the off season , but believe me , the people are great there. The image that is portrayed through the media is not true at all.
