Hey Pankaj, Congratulations on your wedding. Honeymoon is the BEST at a beach location ! ( Unless you are already living on an island) :) As per your budget, Goa should be a good idea if you book your flights and hotels in advance. Also it would be buzzing in goa around that time of the year since its closer to new year's eve and there would be a lot of parties happening. So if you are a party couple; you can totally plan a party hop one of the nights of your stay. Cheers !

Nestled on the slopes of the Palani Hills in Tamil Nadu, Kodaikanal is one of the most famous honeymoon destinations in South India. It is loved by honeymooners for its alluring and cozy settings of lush jungle and pleasant weather. It is a must-visit place in South India for every newly married couple. Do take a boat ride on Kodaikanal Lake, take a stroll in Coakers Walk, plan a trek to Dolphins Nose, and bath in Silver Cascade Falls. You can do a trip of Udaipur and Jaipur combined together. The next option is Simla and Manali. Beachcation would be Pondicherry and Bangalore together. You could even think about Lonavla and Khandala in Maharashtra. Ooty and Coorg will also be romantic locations.
