Hey Priyanka, I would suggest go on your own without any package. Take a pen and paper and make a rough itinerary. Read many blogs of Kashmir and make a best itinerary with all the main information. 5 Days budget itinerary of Kashmir : Day0: Arrive in Jammu and take a sharing jeep to Srinagar ( 10 hours- Rs 500). Or you can take a cab to Banihal ( Rs400 ) then from Banihal take a train to Srinagar ( 1.5 hours- Rs20) Day1: Local sightseeing of Srinagar - Dal Lake, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Betaab Valley and old Srinagar city. The distance of gardens is 15km from the main city Day2 : Srinagar-> Sonmarg-> Srinagar. Spend at least one night at Shikara houseboat in Dal lake of Srinagar Day3: Sringar-> Gulmarg ( 3hours - 56KM).Visit Tangmarg town on the way to Gulmarg. Do activities like Gondola cable car, Ski and horse ride in Gulmarg Day4: Gulmarg-> Pahalgam ( 5 hours - 150KM). Visit Saffron fields of Pampora, Awantipura ruins and Bijbehara village on the way to Pahalgam. Spend the night at Pahalgam Day5: Pahalgam to Srinagar Pack winter clothes like jackets, woollen socks, woollen cap, gloves, moisturizer, first aid kit etc. Happy travelling!!!!!!!!!

It's doable on your own..go through the blogs and vlogs and decide upon the places u wanna visit. Planning on ur own gives u a lot of flexibility apart from being an economical option!!

Lf you don't mind hassles of research and want to explore more within your budget then plan it on your own. while if you want to just enjoy without hassles and don't mind spending more then book package

Thanku 😊
Hi Priyanka There is no need to take package for Kashmir. You can travel it on your own. You can hire a taxi there and the taxi driver will show you around. Places to visit: Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pehelgaon and Srinagar.

Thanku 😊
You can travel on your, it is budget friendly. or else you can do one thing book tickets to Kashmir and then go for the packages which are provided by the tourism of Kashmir. If you book whole package from MMT or any other travel website it will cost you more.

If budget is not a problem go for a package..finding transportation is not an easy task in kashmir.

Plan on your own . That will give you flexibility and you will be able to control your trip as per your wishes.

Hey Priyanka I'll suggest you to travel on your own. It be cost effective and you can visit more places there. There are many places in Kashmir where you'll have to go by your own and will not be included in any package. Also you'll get a good experience by travelling on your own because you'll get more to interact with the locals and i bet you'll love it! Enjoy!!!
