There are many beautiful places around Dehradun. You may consider visiting Robbers Cave, Sahastradhara, Tapkeshwar and Bhatta falls. Excursions include Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, Kanatal, Chakrata and Kempty Falls. Happy Travelling 😊

Go to mussoorie instead of Dehradun, mussorie is great and more scenic than Dehradun

You can start from Buddha Temple in Clement town because that is at one end of Dehradun. moving forward you can go to gucchu Paani(robber's cave), sahastradhara and you can opt for maldevta farms as well for a camp night out. Next day you can plan for Mussoorie as it is some 30-40 kms from Dehradun. On the way you can stop at Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple.Spend a day or two in mussorie and nearby places like chaar dukaan(amazing pancakes) and George Everest(it might involve some trek). You can find excellent eating points all over Dehradun but Rajpur Road has some iconic cafes so you can try that as well! cheers!

Hi Arjun, there are couple of options that you can explore since you will be staying your journey from Dehradun. Considering you're traveling with your mother and younger brother, I would like to suggest two options 1. Dehradun to Rishikesh to Khirsu This is a very scenic route and definitely one of my favorite. Rishikesh doesn't need any introduction, it's a mixed bag. Lot of ashrams, temples and adventure seekers rafting down Ganga. Spend a night at Rishikesh and head to Khirsu the next day, a quite off-beat hill station. 2. Other option I'll suggest is to head to Landour and on to Dhanaulti. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip.

It is a responsible tourism initiative by different and educated people . They are working great in the field of tourism and can guide you better. www.kaathkuni.com You must approach them before bookings. Just not Tour ,make it a travel.
