Looking for party and to chill then north goa is best . If you looking for to get relax and peace and not much crowd then South Goa is good.
In North goa ,there are aguda fort and chapora fort. Must go Baga beach though it is heavily crowded but best restaurants are there with beach view. Brittos is one of them good restaurant. There are many pubs in that lane.
Try vinayak family restaurant and purple martini resto bar. It is good.

If you want crowded place than go to North Goa places like calangute Baga condolim ther you can visit fort aguada w hotel there is fort near it
and if you want to visit silent and less crowded places go to South goa
