Hi, Rann Utsav is from 28th Oct 2019 to 23rd Feb 2020. Choose a full moon night to make the most of it. It is advisable to book your stay in advance due to the rush during New Year Eve.

We spent last new year Eve at Kala Dungar witnessing a beautiful sunset. While the Rann Festival is very crowded during this time, you can make the most out of it by staying at Bhungas in Dhordo and visiting the salt flats early morning before the crowds arrive. If you decide to stay in Dhordo, do visit Dholavira and India Bridge towards the border on a day trip. You can cover Kalo Dungar on the same day. if interested in culture, would strongly recommend visiting Khamir/Ajrakhpur or going to Shrujan for handloom work. Visit Bhuj and local sights like Aaina Mahal and Prag Mahal early morning if you can to avoid the crowd.
