Kodaikanal man, nothing like the magic of Kodai. Why not try silent valley as well or even Munnar for I'm guessing that will be nearer to you.

Rameshwaram... Its a really beautiful place.... And do visit Dhanushkodi, its a must visit place! You will love it ! Its one of those magical places I have been to
