Depending on how many days you have, you can choose to spend days at different beaches. You can get bikes on rent at Mapusa. Anjuna beach has good and cheap stay options. Hi Bhanu, Goa is one of the exciting place. north goa is crowded but night life is good.. north goa is best if u r planning for happening place. south goa is more scenic , less crowded and peaceful.
