Okay, thanks!
For the next few weeks it has been declared orange alert in most of the districts. heavy rain and severe storms are reported. so it will be better if you try to visit Kerala after November.

Contact me if any help needed.. you are always Welcome to Kerala
Hi Anupama. Though the best time to visit Kerala is between September - March, weather conditions there have not normalised completely yet. I suggest going towards mid-end of October. The rains in the lush green state will have subsided and everything will look sparkling clean and the colours, more vibrant than ever. The average temperature will probably stand at a warm 27 °C which is perfect for outdoor activities. Nevertheless, it would be wise to carry an umbrella for sudden and unexpected showers! A plus are the rates around this time which will be lower than normal. Have a safe trip!

Planning to visit Munnar, thekeddy, Alleppey, Kochin ...these 4 places. Any prediction of heavy rains in Oct 1st and 2nd week?
Hi Anupama, October is looking up to be a beautiful month in Kerala. The hard work put in by the citizens, government and local authorities in Kerala has borne its rewards as the state is back in full swing after the floods. October is typically the second wettest month of the year, with the North East monsoon season coming around. It is a great season to visit Kerala since the heat is bearable and the rains cool down the land and make it amiable for touring around. There’s no doubt that God’s own country is its best during the monsoon seasons. If you missed visiting Kerala in the past few months, you should definitely plan your trip this October. You can check out the itinerary by a traveler on Tripoto to help you plan your trip better. https://www.tripoto.com/trip/kerala-the-first-sight-463245 Hope this helps

Yeah Thanks a lot for the information. Just that I was trying to check the weather conditions in Kerela, as due to cyclone 'Hikka' the climate has changed everywhere in most of parts. So hope for the best to get normalise weather early.
Now in Kerala, pleasant climate..During night time rainy.. otherwise everything is fine here..I prefer you to come in alappuzha houseboat,Munnar hill station idukki..This is the best time to visit..

Thanks for the updates 👍
With the weather stills unpredictable (especially random rains), I think you can wait till the end of the month and visit in October. But please do keep an eye on the news about weather changes. Do carry an umbrella with you. If rainfall is predicted, avoid hilly areas. Travel places like trivandrum(ponmudi, varkala), Kollam( munrothuruth, beach, thenamala, jadayupara) etc, which are safe even in times of heavy rainfall. If the weather forecast gives good climate, visit other districts and places like munnar, alappey, idukki, wagamon, etc. Happy tripping and enjoy!
